Codehub is dedicated to fostering a transparent, fair, and equitable digital marketplace. While all digital asset sales are generally final due to the downloadable nature of source code, we maintain strict buyer protection guidelines to address misrepresentation or technical failures.
Eligible Grounds for a Refund Request
Buyers are entitled to request a full technical refund within 14 days of procurement under the following conditions:
Non-Functional Code: The software contains critical core bugs or errors that prevent it from compiling or running in the environment specified by the author.
Misrepresentation: The live product significantly deviates from the features advertised on its Codehub listing page.
Security Red Flags: The source code contains unadvertised security tracking or malicious code.
The Dispute Resolution and Mediation Pipeline
Author Phase: The buyer must first open a support ticket detailing the exact technical issue with log files. The author has 48 business hours to troubleshoot and resolve the bug or provide a patch.
Codehub Escalation: If the author remains unresponsive or fails to fix the core operational error, the buyer can click Escalate to Codehub Engineering Panel.
Technical Audit: Our neutral code reviewers evaluate the asset code and environment logs. If the asset is found to be faulty, the ticket is closed, a full refund is routed back to the buyer's original payment method, and the listing is suspended until resolved.
